Sponsor a Monk

Many of the monks at Nyanang Phelgye Ling Monastery in Nepal come from poor families who live in small villages. The monastery provides a unique opportunity for these monks to receive an education in modern subjects in addition to the traditional religious training. When they enter the monastery, they are fully taken care of their welfare, their education and their health.

I support this wonderful project as children are the most vulnerable human beings on earth. 

Every child deserves to be raised in a healthy and loving environment from where they can expand themselves and embrace our beautiful planet. Giving children hope will forever change their life as well yours for the better. I enlisted a few points that went through my head:

If you would like to become a sponsor you will be given pictures and information about your monk friend with whom you can correspond. If he is too young to write to you, the monastery will provide you with updates on his life and progress.
